ASTD Nebraska is an organization dedicated to today’s workplace learning and performance professionals. Our mission statement is to “enhance members' abilities to train, develop and support clients and organizations and our local global communities.” We provide our 300+ members with quality resources, opportunities, and education to advance their skills as training and development professionals.

ASTD Nebraska is a local chapter of ASTD (American Society for Training & Development), which is the world’s largest association dedicated to workplace learning and performance professionals. ASTD’s members come from more than 100 countries and connect locally in almost 140 U.S. chapters and 25 Global Networks. Members work in thousands of organizations of all sizes, in government, as independent consultants, and suppliers.

ASTD Nebraska's week-long Trainer's Institute is nationally recognized for providing new and seasoned trainers an opportunity to increase their effectivess. Trainer's Institute is designed as an introduction to and an overview for the training role. For individuals who are new to the field of training, Trainer's Institute provides a challenging opportunity for mastering the basic skills every trainer must have to succeed. Experienced trainers have an opportunity to polish their skill set and network with some of the top professionals in the field.
